Train The Trainer for Simulation Teaching
The Train the Trainer in simulation teaching is one of our leading courses. It has been developed over years of teaching clinical staff to run medical simulation and debrief it. It is similarly applicable to any industry that wishes to run simulated education with debriefs. This course never fails to receive wonderful feedback and praise.
We would normally run the course over two days with the first day focussed on the skills of debriefing and the second in running a simulation. This can be modified based on the needs of the group. The course will cover core components of adult learning, student dynamics, debriefing structure and human factors theory. We would normally aim at an optimal class size of 12 and this would allow for all the candidates having a chance to do a hands-on debrief exercise and receive feedback.
